As a new owner and waiting for my ebay Haynes to arrive. I have a very basic question regarding

suspension fluid... From reading various posts, the suspension can leak thus causing ride height issues etc.

I cannot see anywhere under the bonnet to check or refill. Is there such a thing, also is the power

steering run from the same fluid/pump.

The owners handbook does not give much info.

Thanks

As you stand in front of the car with the bonnet open, the suspension pump and the LDS tank is on the left hand side - UK driver's side.   To get to it you'll need to remove one torx screw and some plastic clips in the black cover.   And Yes - the power steering is looked after by the same fluid.   If you are new to C5's take note that they use LDS - not LHM as in previous hydro pneumatic Citroens.   The two won't mix and LHM in a C5 will give you grief.

Hi

Many thanks.

Have to say really loving the C5, 40 plus mpg (and its a auto), great ride, and used the seats down estate yesterday, managed

to transport a dressing table/2 chairs and a load of kitchen equipment all in one loud...

Thinking of buying another C5 for the wife!

Great to hear that you're enjoying your C5.   Yes - with the seats down, the load area is huge.   And I still manage to fill it when I go away.   Best of all - even with the caravan put on the back, the car rises to a level stance.
