fenwoman Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 New member. Currently have Citroen Xsara picasso. Whole family has always driven Citroen or Peugeot for the last 40 years. Last car was Peugeot 406 turbo diesel estate which was great while I ran a smallholding and carted feed, goats, pigs hay etc. However as I've got older and got rid of the livestock and now only drive 3000 miles a year, I wasn't using the diesel properly so when it failed the MOT for minor things, I decided to get something different. I decided on the car I bought. It's petrol and I love it. It's got loads of secret compartments. A place to keep Archie's leads and another place to store my mint imperials so that Archie can't get them , another place to put his treats. And she's a joy to drive. Archie likes her too as there's so much space behind the front seats he can stretch right out on the floor and there's STILL room for his water bowl.I love all the little gadgets, the computer which tells me how well I'm driving, my average speed and fuel use. I love the large bright display. The only thing I don't much like is the colour but I guess it matches my Archie. Quote

fenwoman Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 well there are already a few little niggles but I don't think I would be able to do things myself. I have to pay a man to sort things out. Currently air con not working which I'd like it to do for Archie's sake. And the little knob which selects whether you want air coming from outside or inside the car is stuck on inside and won't stay over to the left. Might have to save up and take Snowflake to M&W autos. Have bought a towbar which needs putting on. Once those 3 things are sorted, I'll be happy. Still reading through the handbook to find out what all the displays etc mean. Quote
Johndouglas Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 . Currently air con not working If you Google "Mobile Aircon " for your area, you may find a local specialist who will regas your system. Also he'll pressure test the system to see if there's any leakage. Quote
