pdjones Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Sent to Citroen Australia and Paris Hi, I cannot believe the low level of service for citroen in Australia. The motor of my car has already nearly been destroyed by one of your dealers and not repaired properly. I know this for a fact. He couldn't even change a timing belt. Now I want to upgrade some maps for my C5 II 2007 build. It has an R$/5 navidrive system fitted. I cannot believe how you treat your customers. In any other country I can download these from the net. Here I have to deal with people who cannot even tell me whether the maps they have will work in my car or not, and charge me 373 bucks for the privilege. As I said, all I want to do is upgrade. Also, they couldn't even tell me if POI, Stop light camera, Speed cameras etc were included. I, and many others, find the level opf support for citroen in this country to be a joke. Anyway, there is still the business of the telephone. I have been ensured by several citroen people that it should work. I talked to a tech who installs bluetooth for a dealer who pointed out that he doubts that they ever worked, as then he wouldn't have to install bluetooth in cars with inbuilt phones for a major Melbourne dealership. Not good enough really. IO'm sending a copy to citroen france for them to read as well. There is no reason such a wonderful car should be so badly supported, yours sincerely Peter Jones (Absolute dickheads_\) Quote
THOMASROBLOT Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 i I am very sorry to hear that you didn't find enough help in australia to solve your problem. Normally all the citroen garage have the same software to help us to find the right parts and other things like some update GPS. But perhaps it is more complicated in some country, the data are mainly provided by navtech, so it could be problem from us. Here (france) for navidrive GPS it possible to find one update featured with the POI like speed cameras..... But I agree with your dealer, it isn't possible to download the update due to several reason, firstly it is a big update so it could take a long time to obtain it by internet And secondly, Citroen advise to install the files in a garage, because you have to erase the HHD in order to put the new update. It is not very complicated, but I broke down one system , and after ii is very hard to find a solution ( how pay what....) For your bluetooth problem I didn't really understand. Did you installe a second bluetooth system, or it is the RT5 navidrive how don't work. Currently the RT5 is bluetooth, but we sometime we have some problem to paired the phoned. I hope you will find a solution in your country, if you need more information you can contact me. Quote
