ZoeB Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 My fan heater stopped working on my C5 2.0hdi (2001) We replaced the motor and everything worked fine for a few days but has now stopped completely again. Any ideas what is causing this please? Quote
coastline taxis Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Im assuming you mean the heater fan inside the car. These are tricky when they play up but most of the time its the resistor pack on the side of the heater. Depending on what model its is then it will be in either the pass side or the drivers side floor well. drivers side = opposite the clutch pedal towards the center of the car.passenger side next to the pollen filter again towards the center of the car. both have four wires going to the multiplug. But you should be able to get the blower to work on no 4 setting if this is the fault. If no action from the blower on any setting then you need to start checking relays and wiring for continuity or breaks so a multimeter is required. What was the reason you changed the 1st one and do you have the electronic control or manual Quote
