coastline taxis Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 my car is citreon c5 2.2 diesel auto,Having rigged up my car to my lexia i wondered if any could explain what they mean and are they correct. injector flow correction injector 1 0.74 " " 2 0.59 " " 3 0.82 " " 4 -2.08 Basicly this is to let you know the IQ (injected quantity) of fuel that the ecu and injectors are given the engine. +/- 2 is a normal reading. 3 is a cause for concern. 4 is a definate fault . Your number 4 injector is showing -2.08 give your car a little blast down the motorway at high revs and itl put that right. fuel pressure at tickover 800 rpm 314 bar " " " " 2500 rpm 659 bar They are good readings and show that your high pressure pump is fine. It just shows you what the pressure is in the common rail anything under 250 when cranking and the car wont start fuel pressure regulator open cycle ratio at tickover 20% This regulator keeps the fuel in the lines constant so the vehicle dosnt over or under fuel the car. Again when cranking to low a pressure will cause engine to take a long time to start. if it starts at all. camshaft - crankshaft synch yes This lets the ecu know that synchranisation between crank and camshaft is ok in other words the timing of the engine is ok and that it ok for the engine to run. Overall paul thats a decent set of readings and would not warrant any cause for concern. many thanks paul Quote
