Johndouglas Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Hello & welcome to the forum. You can get a repair kit to recondition the rear hydraulic units. Also replacement spheres are easily sourced. But it's not a job for the beginner mechanic. First you need the car raised with the wheels off the ground and secure stands under it. Although hydraulic Citroens rise up on the suspension, they can unexpectedly suddenly drop, so it's always advised not to work under them without additional support. Secondly, the hydraulic system needs de pressurized, but not before the green sphere is slightly loosened. The spheres will be extremely tight and difficult to remove without the correct tool. Unless you are confident to do the work yourself, it would be best to find an independent garage that knows Citroens. Tell us where you're situated. Maybe someone will know of one. Quote
