hi

i have a 1995 ax 1.5d

i noticed it was leaking water and with only 55000 on the clock i expected the worst. eventually with much searching i have found the problem to just a water pipe. so i set to remove it...... to gain access i had to remove

air filter assembly

inlet manifold

exhaust manifold

O/S engine mount and sheild plate

exhaust heat shields.

then i could remove the Kleber hose that is broken.

does anyone know where to get one?

kleber 0794

i consulted citroen who said just use a standard hose- problem being its too close to the exhaust and i know it will perish fast if the hose touches the metal?

any ideas?

I assume the part goes between the fuel filter housing and the coolant housing on the rear of the engine above the drive shaft.

It would appear that the hose has an internal diameter of 19.20mm and possibly you could use a suitable piece of hose.

However, the recomended part would appear to cost £13.34 inc vat from your main dealer.

From the information you have given its probably part number: 1307AQ - item no 3 on the picture.

I would recommend that you speak to your citroen dealer and give them your chassis number to enable them to confirm that is whats required.

If your Citroen dealer hasnt got one try your local peugeot dealer they use the same engine.
