BigBruv Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I had the same problem. I replaced the DPF and still kept on getting the unblock diesel filter error. Kept clearing the code and it came back after a few mins. All I had to do was replace the vacuum sensor which has the two tubes that go into the DPF. Fixed it. Quote
Simple Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Can you elaborate on the location and shape of the vacuum sensor, I am getting occasional gear fault (Limp mode). I changed the Transmission Oil, but I still got one gear fault error in a month. Funnily, this fault seems to occur in the same road location (a bend as I am entering the motorway) and on damp days!!. I Stop the car on the side of the road, switch off , switch on and all is fine until the next fault. I suspect a sensor that is affected by centrifugal movement and/or weather conditions. French cars makers should include service by an Exorcist or African Black Magic Doctor within their dealerships. Quote
Gilbern Invader Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Vacuum sensor close to DPF follow rubber pipes to it, just behind battery box. Check exhaust temp sensor is connected as well, between DPF and CAT, Quote
Gilbern Invader Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Before replacing sensor would be worth disconnecting rubber pipes to it one at a time (don't get them mixed up!) and blowing down them to confirm they are not blocked with soot from the exhaust. Quote
Witt0018 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Hi, not sure if this will help you.... When you replaced the dpf, did you reset the parameters in the ECU? The ECU will need to be told that the dpf is new or has been cleaned, as it ages the pressure sensors allow the ECU to learn the condition of the dpf, when it's replaced there is a sudden change in the pressures, unless the ECU is told this is a new dpf, then it will take this as being a fault and will give the airflow and dpf faults in the code read. To reset the ECU you will need to get the car onto a suitable diagnostic reader which has the ability to reset this, such as texa, Bosch or citroen software, or a similar good quality machine. Quote
