OK clever people i have a problem with my 2003 2.2hdi c5

  • Driving along the motorway the ESP fault displayed and the car died.
  • No bang or juddering or any other warnings displayed.
  • Car still turns over will not even try to fire up.
  • Also windows have stopped working so has the interior lights, Windscreen wipers and headlights.
  • Connect fault code reader and shows nothing at all.
  • Central locking still works though(small pleasures and all)

I've cheched the fuses that i could find and all seems as it should.

Any ideas on what is the best course of action next would be great.

Thank you

Ok ESP stands for electronic stability program so the cars telling you theres a electrical fault.

Dont worry about your windows/wipers etcetc thats the economy mode that is doing that and as soon as the engine is started then these faults will go away.

Your never going to sort this out unless you put it on a diagnostic machine as it could be anything. so thats what you have to do next also have you got fuel in it
