scifiguru Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Hi All, I've recently purchased a 2009 C5 Exclusive and I am in the process of fixing a couple of minorannoyances. One of which is a couple of small sections of bubbling paintwork at the front of thebonnet next to the 'chrome' Citroen chevron. Now i'de like to do a proper job and would prefer to remove the decal before I treat the paintworkbut does anyone know the correct procedure for removing the decal from the bonnet. I can see thereare a number of clips under the bonnet so how do you release them ? Thank you for any help you can provide. Quote
Johndouglas Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 The clips are manufactured from spring steel. They are curved and as they are forced on to the stem, they straighten and the raised edges bite into the stem. If they are removed, they are probably destroyed and new ones will be required. The Citroen part number 7427 52 and very likely come in bags of 10 or so. Quote
