delart Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Hi my headlamp washers don't work on my 2004 exclusive, the front and rear washers work checked all visible fuses under dash and bonnet, and yes did try them with headlights on. Anybody else had this problem? Quote
qman3428 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 They only work every 10th application of the windscreen washers, have you given it enough tries Quote
Johndouglas Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 They only work every 10th application of the windscreen washers,Not with my 2005 model they didn't. Providing the headlights were switched on, the washers worked on every pull of the stalk. The headlamp washer works off its own reservoir with its own electrical connection. Check for 12volts at the connector when the stalk is moved. If you have 12volts then suspect the pump. The lamp washer is the blue one on the right. As you see, you need to drop the bumper to access it. http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i53/Johndug/P1020093.jpg[/url] Quote
delart Posted June 14, 2014 Author Posted June 14, 2014 Thanks they are sliding out either, does anybody know if they are fuse protected. Or more to the point which fuse, I presume they should slide out even if they don't spray? Quote
citrophile Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I have a feeling they extend using water pressure rather than any specific electric or other system Quote
delart Posted June 14, 2014 Author Posted June 14, 2014 Thanks that puts a different view on things. Quote
