winnie Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Hi All, I have a crack in the rear O/S upper reflector glass, I have received a second hand one to change with but not to shore on how to get the old one off.The car is a 2001 estate.I have the replacement in front of me, it has 2 metal bits looks like locating pins at each end, no screws or bolts. Is it a push fit and to take the old one off would I prise it out with a flat screwdriver ?It houses the stop and tail light bulb. coastline taxis Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 if you look on the outside of the rubber sealing ring that goes round the tailgate next to where the light are youl see 2 black plastic caps (about the size od a 10p coin) remove them and youl find 2 10mm bolts undo them and pull the lens off the car. they can be done in situ but its much easier this way Quote
winnie Posted July 31, 2014 Author Posted July 31, 2014 It's done, thanks coastline taxis for the help.Dead easy when you know how, just got to check the light to night as the sun is so bright can not tell if all are ok, they should be as I used the same bulb and fitting. Quote
