Hi

Just changed all 4 tyres on my 2006 c5 exclusive and took care to replace the wheels on the same hubs, to avoid possible mis-communication from the pressure sensors.

Not sure if I needed to do this though - a quick scout around the net suggests "older" TPM sytems work on the ABS sensors, and therefore always know which tyre is losing air, whereas newer ones need reprogramming if you move the wheel

Anyone know where the cut across is from older to newer, and whether I can rotate the wheels without causing myself hassle/expense?

Thanks

With my now departed C5 (a 2005 model)I could move the wheels around at will and the system carried on as normal. However if I used the spare - which was a breaker's alloy complete with a sensor, the system threw a tizzy and refused to work for any of the wheels.
