I have a 2009 C4 Picaso with the 1.6 Diesel engine. After a recent service, it has had trouble starting, either starting and then stopping fairly quickly after which it takes a while to restart or just taking a long time to start. I suspect it's air in the system but any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks

when you get in the car to start it switch ignition on and listen for a gurgling sound do this a few times until the gurgling stop then see if car fires up and runs ok. If it does then this confirms your leak theory as youve just primed the fuel system.  Youl now have to start and look for a leak and the most common one is on the pipe that goes into the back of the fuel filter
