ghostms Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 i read on other forum about other cars that it is a common problem with estates of all type of cars... tho i didnt have that problem with opel asta, but anyways is there and easy fix and maybe someone knows a tutorial how to take it apart? Quote
Parkesie Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 One of the gas struts will be dead. A easy pop off pop on part. Get someone to hold the boot up while you take one off then gently lower the boot. If its made no difference youve taken the knakered one off, if the boot feels twice as heavy youve taken the good one off. Of course both could be shagged. Quote
Johndouglas Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Getting access to the struts is a bit more difficult since they are under the headlining of the car.
