coastline taxis Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Hi what size engine is it and what make of pump Quote
Kevin.dobson Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 2.5 d none turbo and it's a bosh pump :) Quote
coastline taxis Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 No the pump wont need coding in as theres just 1 wire that goes to a stop solenoid on the back of the pump. When you say it dosnt have a ecu do you mean the main engine ecu or do you mean something else. without a main ecu the engine will never start and you could be buying a pump for nothing Quote
Kevin.dobson Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Sorry, I'm not machanicly minded..it hasn't got the plug (scart lead socket type thing) what you would plug the diagnostic machine into Quote
coastline taxis Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 its pre obd so it dosnt have a 16 pin obd port. It will however have diagnostic points that can be used. Any lexia or high end diiagnioostic kit will have the proper leads to go into the ecu Quote
