mickrochip Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 hello there, problem with parking sensors on 2004 2.0l hdi 16v c5. problem appears when car switched on , parking system faulty, was wondering if there was any way of testing individual sensors, this system was excellent when working , especially for parking in tight spots, maybe would need to take car to dealer for digonostic check thanks for now Quote
Johndouglas Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 You probably have a sensor faulty. A lexia will indicate which one, although I've heard that a buzzing noise can be heard from good ones. Quote
mickrochip Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 thanks for the help lads, another question , are the front & back sensors interchangeable,or do i have to get rear sensors Quote
Johndouglas Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Looks as though they are all the same with the same part number - 6590 A5 Quote
mickrochip Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 thanks for your help , i think it is one of the rear sensors,it happens when car is put into reverse gear Quote
