ham's c4vts Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Take a look at Grandma's Car! http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/Iqy/?...rrent=Movie.flv Quote
philstott1983 Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Still impossible to say anything good about a Nissan, let alone the Micra! Quote
wozza Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I learnt to drive in that model micra in a 1.0 version it was painful! Quote
wozza Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Ham messed the link up in this thread. I fixed it so should be fine now. Same as in the general section though he is just spamming again :-P Quote
Mike5483 Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Oh, Ive seen that before. Its mint aint it!!! Imagine having a Traffic Light GP in that!!! Quote
wozza Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Would be fun at the lights. Theres a couple cars like this though the Clio TT is another one like this tuned TT engine in a stripped out clio. And theres a smart car in another country that was put on the net with a Hyabusa turbo engine beating a Ferrari F430 down the quarter. Quote
ifigureditout Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 true sleeper! some people have more money than sense though. imagine how much hes spent on that micra, n yeah its quick but its a micra! Quote
wozza Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Wouldnt be that much can pick up a pulsar for £2000 and a micra for a couple hundred swap engines over. Or if you know of one thats been wrote off can probably pick the engine up for a few hundred. Wouldnt be that expensive and it'd be good fun. Quote
ifigureditout Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 fitting it though? thats gna cost. i agree it would be fun just not for me i would just rather buy a pulsar, i love them Quote
wozza Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Not that hard even without knowing what your doing. Just need the tools. Quote
iannez Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 got the tools and know what i'mm doing but still would not take on a job like that. 4wd, prop shaft, harness change, space for transfer box, moding subframe and gear links. weilding in all those plates to stop body twisting, altering hubs to take pulsar driveshafts and then you have a very small hole to fit a very large engine, intercooler and bigger radiator. then on top of all that you have to do things to make it stop and corner. far from easy if you ask me. Quote
wozza Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 No 4wd running gear and they probably didnt strengthen the chassis etc up much if at all. If its only for going down the 1/1 they would hav elikely just dumped it in as easily as they could. Quote
ifigureditout Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 yeah thats what i would have thought. if i had tonnes of money to spare i might do it as its not going to be cheap to make it a fast 'driveable' car. but then again if i had money to spare i would just buy something fast in the first place Quote
ham's c4vts Posted October 17, 2006 Author Posted October 17, 2006 hear hear well said that man Quote
