arak81 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Hi everyone, I am a new member of the forum. I used to have a Kia car which was my first car and now i got Citroen C4 VRT+ . This car is currently with 61k+ miles and in last MOT which was done on 59k+ had some advosories Both side front suspension have slight play in a lower suspension ball joint (2.5.b.1a) and also Nearside rear tyre tread distorted. the seller took it to garage and they said it that it was not necessary to do anything at that point of time. he has driven 2.5k ...so do you guys think that driving from London to Cornwall with it will be safe? Johndouglas Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Well I would certainly get the tyre changed before driving much further. Any irregularity with a tyre could prove dangerous and if nothing else could be very inconvenient if it blows out on the road when it's pouring down. As for the other things - I always take advisories as something that needs looking at in the next few months. After all, if it was seriously worn, it wouldn't have got a new certificate. Quote
