Hello & welcome.   First I've deleted one of your posts because it's better to keep replies to only one topic.      You probably know that there are four different diesel engines fitted to the C5.   The 1.6hdi; the 2ltr;   the 2.2ltr and the 3ltr.   The 2ltr is by far the most popular.     Also by 2008 the hydraulic suspension was dropped from the C5 range except for the highest spec Exclusive model.   All the lesser specs have steel springs similar to Peugeots.    When the new model became available it brought a few teething problems which gradually became apparent.   One of the more troublesome faults is the leakage of steering fluid.   We have a section on the forum devoted to common problems.   See it here:- http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/20279-common-problems-rev-4102015/

Scotty, I have had a 2.2 2008 model for a few years now. All I can say is that I love the car. She is good looking, reasonably light on diesel and has more character and personality than any boring German box on wheels.

I have found she blows headlamps on a regular basis - about every six months. However replacing the bulbs is a less than five minute job - even for someone with fat fingers like me.

Best of luck if you're looking for a Tourer (Estate) Exclusive - there seem to be about 3 for sale in the UK!
