muttontop Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 HiI have a 2002 C5 Exclusive, the passenger side speakers have stopped working (although the passenger tweeter still works). I've removed both speakers and checked the connections, I've taken out the radio and checked the connections on that (the plug appeared to seat itself a little when pressed and the front speaker then worked for about a minute and then stopped again) but I am now lost for ideas. All I can think of now is that a fault has developed in the radio but not sure why I could get the speaker to work for a few minutes if there was a problem. Any body any ideas?Cheers Quote
Randombloke Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 You may find that where the door has been opened countless times the cheap PSA Peugeot Citroën wiring made from alloy rather than copper has fractured. If it has it's where the loom passes from the main car body to the door. Had a major repair to do on a 406 where this had happened to the immobiliser key pad. Suffered the same with the siren on my 2002 C5 Exclusive. Quote
