ham's c4vts Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Just brought my self another car, a Renault (Rubbish) (Rubbish) Clio 1.4 RT for £600, FSH, 44400 miles, all recipts, all mots, 2 owners in the same family! not what i was after, i wanted an ax or 106 1.0, but hey its ok and its in good condition except rear wheel arches which im going to get done. feels crude compared to C4 though(8 years old) http://mybigspoon.com/wozza/clio-1.4-rt.jpg Quote
wozza Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Looks good mate but already told you that. And im a Clio fan anyway. Quote
Ciaran2903 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 Does look good......for an 8 year old car. But why? Surely anyone in their right minds would rather drive a VTS? Is it for a son or daughter? Quote
ham's c4vts Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 no im a bit lazy and put motorbike away for winter, so i got this as a run around, wife uses C4 for work  Quote
philstott1983 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 no im a bit lazy and put motorbike away for winter, so i got this as a run around, wife uses C4 for work  Is the shadow on the side of the car one of you taking the picture, or are tree monsters common in your neck of the woods. The shadow looks a bit freaky! Can't argue with french cars tho, don't think i'd ever deal with anything but french unless the 6 numbers came up on a saturday night and I could purchase a BMW M6. However I reckon id buy a Citroen C6 as well, just to see whats its like.......looks a fab car!! Quote
ham's c4vts Posted November 5, 2006 Author Posted November 5, 2006 yes its the tree, i had a go last week at thining it down with lopers and a saw, but it was to much like hard work, so i rented an electric chain saw jobbie and erm............ got to carried away cutting everything infront of me  Quote
C4VTS Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 It looks really old compared to a C4  Quote

ifigureditout Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 lol whats your massive problems with renaults? its not bad for an old car. course its not gonna be as nice as the c4. i'm a clio fan. infact i have an 02 clio rite now Quote
Stuey Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 you dont have a leg to stand on mate, you bought it so therefore all the grief that I/your colleagues/the rest of this forum/the guys on Xsara sports will give you. Dear Mrs Ham, Please may Mr Ham have his VTS back? His is getting abuse from all of his friends about the Clio and I think it may damage him. He is a bit of a wimp as he is not riding his bike as it is winter time so his fingers are getting cold and mittens do not work well with the "biker" look. My other half is willing to lend you her Impreza WR1 as you are clearly a woman who appriciates her cars. A plea from all at CitroenPiccaso.org  Quote
ham's c4vts Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 nowt wrong with car just mates at work are takin the p**s because of the colour  Quote
