arak81 Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 I noticed that my car's light bulbs ie. dipped beam headlight bulbs, full beam, brake lights bulb etc getting blown to quickly. last week all of a sudden my two rear light bulbs got blown and i replaced them with LED (bought from halfords costed me £20 with 5years warranty), they were already replaced with standard light bulbs not to long ago.same goes to front dipped headlight bulbs. in few months time i had to replace front low beam and high beam both. I am kind of fade up with bulb replacing.. So i am thinking what is the way around of avoiding light blown.. Can i buy LED H7, H1 for dipped beam and full beam which might give me little more longevity. Will they work as normal bulb should do.Did anybody try with these bulbs. and also I wish to fit day time running light. is it DIYable? Can anyone give me any guideline about it. thanks in advance. Rookie2 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 If you are fitting leds into these vehicles then the led's have to be CAN corrected. cheers Quote
coastline taxis Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 when the bulbs blow what happens to them. I.E do they go white/silver or a little dark patch on the glass as they all point you in a direction of the fault depending on how they blow Quote
