Economy Drive

Whilst starting car up, the dash flashed Economy Drive On :unsure: , i was only playing with the radio nothing else, any idea why, i'm probley being really thick here :ph34r: does it need to be on or when do you use it if not :angry: sorry for these questions but the dealers are not much help :blink:

yes, after half hour the radio turned off, when stationary, didn't realise it had economy mode, can you turn this off :lol: as sometime I'm waiting well over a hour for hubby :D

I think the dealer may be able to change the timing to longer, but it prevents a flat battery. If you start up the engine after half an hour, it will reset to another half hour.

 

My dealer said he cannot change Economy Mode at all on my C5, but at least I won't get a flat battery in future.

 

As Kfk said before, have you tried to bump start a C8? :D

Mine is 30mins on my C3 but ECO mode has kicked in after 10mins in my brothers C3.
