wozza Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Think the 307 actually looks alright and considering its the same shell they use for the WRC it cant be that bad. :-P Remember the C4 and 307 share most of the main parts Chassis, suspension etc. Quote
ifigureditout Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 i just think it looks soooo stretched out. argh dammit those 182's are tempting me again Quote
wozza Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Tell me about it just pulled up next to a 182 and 172 on the way home. Temping me as well. But i like the comfort of the C4 so much nicer during long trips. But id like a nice liquid yellow or petrol blue 182. Quote
ifigureditout Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 thats the dillemma. do i get a comfortable, refined yet nippy car with leather, space, all the toys or go for something thats gonna make me say wow everytime i get in it. i keep swaying between the two. just been out in my mates 182 today and wow! their amazing cars, their punching so far above their weight. wozza Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 There just a bitch to get extra power from. if you want 200bhp gotta be wanting to spend upwards of £2000. Id honestly say try the C4 VTS if you have not driven one its not as nice handling wise or as quick but still plenty fast enough. And has all the comfort and its not looked at as only being a Clio. ifigureditout Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 true. i just wish citroen would bite the bullet and bring something out to rival it. something to go up head to head with the meggy, they should have just dumped a 2.0l turbo in. and this talk of the facelift switching to a 1.6 turbo isn't exciting me too much. even after a remap its not going to be too impressive i'm guessing. c14vts Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 well worth the 6 month wait all though the dodgy dealers i got my car from were real crooks and i nearly lost all my money but i will say shop around i got my c4 vts fully loaded {apart from the front parking sensors, Didnt see the point}, for £17650 . and like everyone else the car is a pleasure and still rare................. Igot some pics coming but not sure how to get them on here anyone help pleazzzzzzzzzzzze ;) :o ;) Quote
wozza Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 1.6 turbo with upwards of 200bhp will easily rival the meg infact i would say it should kick its arse 0-60ish similar power with a near 200kg weight reduction should easily do the trick. Bare in mind a current 1.6 with a turbo bolted on will do it sub 7 seconds. it will rival the meg no problems. engine may also be put in the C2 VTS which would make it a good rival to the clio. Quote
ifigureditout Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 i guess but i reckon its gonna take a good remap to see how good the engine is. Quote
