Stormbird Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Does anyone have any idea if the C6 is Ipod compatible, or do you have to use one of those FM transmitter connections ?My local dealer doesn't even know what mp3 so he can't help. Quote
wozza Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Does it not have an MP3 compatible cd player? If so just burn mp3's to the cd's might be easier than messing about and since you can get 200+ songs on 1 cd chances are you wont get through them that quickly. Otherwise were not entirely sure think your the 1st C6 owner we have got here. Quote
kfk Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 unless someone else manufactures components to allow an ipod o plug into a C6 radio then i would say that the FM transmitter is the only way to get it to play through the unit. Quote
Stormbird Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 Thanks folks. I don't yet own the C6 but it's on my short-list. Ipod compatibility is important but if I have to go via an FM Transmitter then so be it - that won't be the deciding factor. What will be, is getting past the opinions of friends and business colleagues who think I'm nuts to consider the C6 as an alternative to one of the German trio. Here in Portugal, the C6 is very expensive yet fully spec'd as an Executive model still a little under the Teutons. wozza Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Well you will get a better riding car that the competition it will just depreciate very very badly. Quote
Stormbird Posted December 2, 2006 Author Posted December 2, 2006 No car is a good investment. I've owned various marques and the one that has stung me the most so far has been Mercedes.I've found that if you move around makes such as Saab and Volvo, and play them off a little as you negotiate your new car, they give you far better trade in deals than the other premium brands.I've never owned a Citroen. The C6 has really captivated me so in the end I'll probably let my heart rule my head and opt for this car. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 The C6 is a simple beautiful car, great to drive and great to be in. Looks elegant, ride is like you're on air and equipment is pretty impressive. Problem for my is its a bit too big, and the reason I would never buy it is its likely to go down on record for the biggest depreciation ever seen in a car, certainly here in the UK. Quote
wozza Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Sure I read projected figures were something like £22,000 for the first 3 years in depreciation. Quote
