Oxymoron Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Hi, I've just had to buy two new wheel trims to replace 2 damaged when my wife hit the kerb the other day! :( Total cost from Citroen £29.94 inc. vat for the 2.Suppose it could have been worse, at least I didn't specify the alloy wheels! I'm keeping the damaged ones to put on the car every thursday, when my wife has the car for the day! Cheerz. Quote
numbersix Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 You just do not listen Oxy!! Your good lady said that the kerb hit her. These pavements are a menace, and are more agile than you think! Be seeing you!! Quote
tronboy Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I DID specify the "Estoril" alloys, and I wish I hadn't. The design is such that they are proud of the tyre wall and they're very easily damaged. They are now a mashed-up mess of white jagged metal.... Not because i'm a particularly careless driver, but I do drive 36,000 miles a year....... Tron Quote
StephenM Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 2 front trims were scuffed to bits so went for michelin wheeltrims - £29.99 for 4, very nice - look more like alloys without the price tag or chav attracting potential! Keeps the french theme. Quote

Oxymoron Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Hi, I thought about some aftermarket wheel trims, but in the end decided that 'cos the Blingo is only 6 months old, I wanted to keep the original look. In my opinion, the wheel trims look more like alloy wheels than the fussy looking alloy option! Cheerz. B) Quote
