Mat Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 What is the panel circled in blue called? How is it attached to the car? I've noticed mine is coming loose on the driver's side. I didnt want to pull any further to work out how its attached. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g222/matcapel/C4_side-panel.jpg Quote
citroeneddie Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Mat It's called the B pillar, and I suggest you get it looked at under warranty, the fixings have probably come loose Quote
wozza Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 It just clips on if memory serves the clips are replaceable. Bodyshop that did mine got replacement clips for my car from local Renault (Rubbish) dealer as they were the only place who had them instock. Quote
Mat Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 Thought so - thanks. Whats the difference between a B-pillar and an A-pillar? Quote
kfk Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 The 'A' pillar obscures your vision when your looking forward left and right. The 'B' pillar obscures your vision when looking over your right shoulder! Other than that.....the winscreen is fitted to the 'A' pillars. Quote
Mat Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 Is there a C-pillar that obscures your vision when reversing, that the boot door is bolted to? Quote
Mike5483 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Is there a C-pillar that obscures your vision when reversing, that the boot door is bolted to? Yes, the back ones are C pillars. My A pillar windscreen trims are coming off at the moment, that is on the list for the next time it goes in. I believe this was a fairly common problem with the C4's. Quote
lab44 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Yeah I think I had mine replaced - was like it the day i picked it up. Quote
Welshguy Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Yeah they do come off with a little bit of force - I had my B pillars colour coded recently when I had the white van man 'incident'. Quote
