Air Con Control Panel / Rear Wiper Motor

I've been told by a Citroen dealer that I need an air conditioning control panel (over 300 pounds for the part alone) and a rear wiper motor.

 

My question is would it be possible to obtain the parts from another parts source and have my local garage fit them? Would the fitting of the control panel require link-up to the Citroen dealer computer etc?

 

Any advice would be welcome.

Is it the auto ie climate control panel you need? (peugeot 206 has the same system :D )

Thanks guys - will take your advice. Re your question I'm not really sure - the air conditioning was malfunctioning but the heated rear window went as well (the orange indicator in the aircon display went out and the heater stopped working). I'm told this is also controlled by the control panel which I was advised needed replaced.

you dont need diag tool to fit these. also the climate ctrl panel is a lot easier to fit than normal panel as it has no cables just multi plugs.
