C4VTS Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 My heated drivers seat has stopped working. The dealer wants the car for 2 days to strip the leather seat down and locate the fault. The Citroen technician said it may be a broken element, and could mean a new seat covering if the element is built into it, but he is not sure, which is why it needs investigating Has anyone else had a fault with the heated seat, and what was replaced? CoolCarbon Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Has anyone else had a fault with the heated seat, and what was replaced? No problem yet, be interested in the result when you get it sorted... Quote
C4VTS Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 Booked it in for 5th March. They have offered me a C4 Grand Picasso as a loan car. Quote

C4VTS Posted February 24, 2007 Author Posted February 24, 2007 My previous Audi A4 had heated seats, and never had a problem either, but we are talking about Citroen. :) Quote
lab44 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 My mates got an 04 plate focus st - his heated seats broke - think it was a heater element or something. Quote
iannez Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 did one last month. fit a new seat base. the back worked fine tho so you could have a bad connection some where if the back and the base have both stopped working. Quote
C4VTS Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 All fixed now. Had a new element fitted to the seat. The element includes new leather seat cover(base only) and cushioning. The new seat is more of a matt black than the passenger side now, so just hope the new cover gets some shine with use. Quote
