mikefisher Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Hi there, posted this in another topic string to no avail, really need to know how to sort this problem if possible.I just got an SX 2.0i and Rear suspension is absolutely rigid but goes up and down fine. when driving i basically have no rear suspension at all (head hits the roof occasionally!) its like driving an empty LWB van!. LHM level isn't high and all seems to be fine. not noticed anything untoward with wheel alignment or the arms, is this an MOT fail? Also, ABS light is permanently on. Have got a second hand ABS ECU on the way but will there be compatability probs? Oh yeah, and sunroof is dead, not a fuse and the mechanism works ok when cranked manually just no power going to it. Any help appreciated from anyone in the know. Thanks Mike Quote
DickieG Posted May 4, 2007 Posted May 4, 2007 Stiff/rigid suspension is normally due to the spheres needing replacement, it will be an MOT fail. There are a couple of different types of ABS ECU's, are you sure its not due to a faulty wheel sensor? The N/S/F is the usual one to go. Quote
