BigJohnD Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Am i right in saying you can buy the lights from a dealer (for a couple of quid)Yes fit them yourselfYes get them activated on their coputer? That's where the jury is still out. Quote
Mike5483 Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Yes Yes That's where the jury is still out. For some reason, some people can fit them and they work, other people fit them and they dont. This does not seem to be model specific either, its the luck of the draw. Im not sure if its a computer thing, or just part of the loom thats not connected up somewhere. If you want to try it, it wont break the bank, but you might be a little dissapointed. Quote

flat2themat Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I know they didnt work on mine, but think it costs £5 for the two so not going to break the bank. Quote
MikeRotherham Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I've just purchased a VTR+ and was wondering if it was possible to fit the footwell lights. I've located the blanking plug where the lights fit. Is the wiring, connector etc supposed to be there. I've felt inside around the hole but can't find any loose wiring. Perhaps that part of the loom is no longer fitted as standard without the lights being specified. Any ideas? Quote
kfk Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Perhaps.......but then maybe the wires are taped further away than the tips of your fingers.......you may have to remove the door trim to get a better look. Quote
