torres Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Here's a new preview on the 2007 Citroen C4 Sedan, from TopSpeed, with some info on performance, design and other features. Also available is a photo gallery with the car. " Citroen unveiled today the C4 Sedan, a model that expands the existing C4 range currently made up of a 5-door hatchback and a coupe. The new model is built on the C4 platform and will be available on sale starting the last quarter of 2007. The C4 Sedan combines the design cues of the C4 range with the larger volumes of a sedan that is 4.77 m long and 1.77 m wide. The C4 is a very good looking car why mess around with it!?!?! it wouldnt look to bad as an estate (like that but with the back all the way to the roof line) but a stupid sticky out boot?? Look at the Focus sedan that looks like a pile of **** why did Citroen follow suit?? rant over  Quote

Goon Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 I think its impressive. I mean, to design out every bit of funkyness in the C4 takes talent. Good news is that it will only sell here in very small numbers. Renault did the same with the Megane and that was a great (ahem) success! I wonder whether its because the C4 hasn't proved as popular as they'd hoped and so they've 'dumbed' :P it down for more conservative types. Quote
hertsnminds Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Maybe Citroen are just going to base all of their production on the C4 platform, watch out the C4 Pluriel could be next :P IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote
Johndouglas Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 If Citroen wanted to extend the range, I would have thought an estate version would have been more useful. Quote

hertsnminds Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 So will the CC come fitted with a Hiab to aid removal of what I would imagine to be very heavy roof bars? Let's give Citroen a bit more credit for innovation. The Hiab (extra cost accessory) is for removing/replacing the rear 2 seats section of the car so that it is true 2 seater soft top when the roof is off and a proper 4 seater hatch when the roof (rear section) is on. :P IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote
