Xantia Keyfob Reprogramming

hi,

can anyone advise me on reprogramming my 1996 xantia keyfob?it`s the two button`deadlocking type`and i purchased some instructions from ebay.they weren`t that clear,and described me pushing the two buttons in a certain sequence as the led flashes constantly.the only problem is that the led on mine only comes on for a few seconds,and i wondered if i`m doing something wrong?

can anyone shed any light on it?

Follow the advice from KFK in your last post on the subject as he gives a correct description of the procedure. Normally it takes just a few seconds to reprogram a remote.

 

The led on the remote only illuminates for a second or so.
