Lazzer R1 Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Hi,I have just bought a 2001 C5 Diesel Estate. After buying it, my insurance company asked if it is the 90 or 110 bhp. I didn't know, so I spoke to the dealer, who called citroen, who said that it was the 90bhp version. But after a few days, I noticed a small sticker on the inside of one of the passenger doors with 110bhp on it. Is there any clear physical way to tell if it is the 90bhp, or the 110? Thanks,Laz. Quote
Benny Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Yeh if you dyno it. I think in England they call it a rolling road. Not quite a feasable solution but i dunno any otha way and if Citroen don't know then i can't think of any one who would Quote
hertsnminds Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Not sure about a physical way to check but the V5 document should list CO2 emissions. With the C4 the 90 and 110 models have different emissions 128 g/Km and 125 g/Km respectively. IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote
Johndouglas Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 If the C5 follows the same pattern as the Xantia and the Xsara, the 90BHP won't have an intercooler and the 110BHP will. Look for what looks like a second radiator. Quote
