Guest 4789 Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Hi Looking for some advice if poss. I bought a new Accumulator Sphere today from Euro-carparts (£21) however, on comparing it with the one already fitted (which is an original citroen one) the new one seems slightly larger. could this be to it being a pattern part?. Euro-carparts insist it's the right one. Secondly, i've had differing opinions on how to change said Sphere. I've been told i need to lower the suspension before releasing the accumulator release valve & someone else told me i need to raise the suspension before releasing the valve which is right?? My Xantia is a 96 on an 'N Thank you in advance. Quote
kfk Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Lower suspension & release (1 full turn) the 12mm bleed bolt. As for the size of the sphere, who knows, but it probably is right if they say so, if in doubt get a refund and buy one from a citroen dealer. Should be noted that the bleed bolt should not be removed, if you do you will loose the ball bearing under it! Quote
