c4wanted Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Hello all, How do you tell the difference between the 90 hp and the 110 hp 1.6 diesel engine, by looking at the engine, or the options on the car? Is there a way to tell.I can’t seem to find any info on this anywhere. Please give me a hand – I want to make sure I’m not getting ripped off by paying for a 110 and getting a 90.Thanks! Quote
Johndouglas Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Haven't a clue about the 1.6 but on the 2ltr model the 110 has an intercooler and the 90 doesn't. Quote
hertsnminds Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 2 ways I can think of 1 look on the V5 the 110 has different CO2 emissions to the 90 or 2 note the VIN number and ask a Citroen dealer to look up the car on their database they can tell you the engine that was put in when the car was made. iannez Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 the 110 has strange shaped pipes with plastic washers around there length near the rear of the drivers headlamp. these go to the intercooler. 90 has no intercooler. Quote
