Iv'e got an 02 berlingo forte (old shape), it's the best car I've ever owned. It has one minor but incredibly annoying problem. The windscreen wipers make a ticking noise when they hit the top of their travel.

It does not depend on speed or conditions, it's just random. I thought at first the blade was hitting the body work but it occasionally goes away.

Could it be a drive problem of some description? It makes long journeys very tiring considering the car is so comfortable. (big, big step up from my old Punt).

I know it sounds simple but try new blades. Whenever the blades wear out on my xantia, it sounds like there hitting the bodywork when theyre operating.
