Guest Colin Hunter Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Hi. This is straight from the handbook. Assuming you know the existing code. To change the code. Ignition switched on.1.-Enter old code already in memeory.2.-Press Key "C"3.- Enter new 4 figure code.4.- Press Key "C" to validate. Four flashes of the green warning lamp and four audible beeps indicate the information is recorded. The two codes (Old & New) remain valid until one is used to start the engine.Should there be no confirmation (Flashes & beeps) turn the ignition off. then turn on and strt the process again. If both Red & Green lamps flash simultaneously, this indicates an incorrect entry or malfunction. if this condition persists CONSULT CITROEN DEALER. I have been told that the diesel may have the immobiliser disabled by unplugging the keypad while the engine is running. I know of people who have done this but have no idea what would happen should the unit be re-connected. Hope this helps. Quote
kfk Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 when you reconnect it the immobilizer cuts back in.........then you hope you can remember the code, cos you can bet this will be several months later when you decide to do it! Quote
