Skipweasel Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 This onehttp://www.skipweasel.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk...ges/mystery.jpgisn't in my handbook - though there are a couple of pages missing. It appears to be a factory produced Citroen switch - and I don't think it's the ejector seat. Anyone any idea what it does? What it doesn't do is mute the radio or stop the horn sounding. Nor does it put the engine into hushmode. Thanks - Skipweasel. Quote
kfk Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 The vehicle has an alarm which if the battery goes flat in the remote control you wont be able to turn off. To assist you in cancelling the alarm it allows you to open the door insert ignition key and press button to cancel siren sounding. Its other use is to turn off the ultrasonic sensors so you can leave the mother in law locked in the car without setting the alarm off!....also usefull if you have a pet or need to leave a window partially open while locked. You should find information on this near the 'how the alarm works' section in your handbook Quote
Skipweasel Posted September 26, 2007 Author Posted September 26, 2007 You should find information on this near the 'how the alarm works' section in your handbook Ah - that'll be one of the pages that's fallen out then. Along with the "How to check your LHM level" - which I sort of worked out from first principles and later found I'd got right! Thanks. Quote
