Guest suffolk steve Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 [Hi, This is my Bx 16 Valve, she has 66k on the clock and 2 previous owners. She was built in rennes in France on the 13th June 1990 but not registered in the uk till 6th March 1991. I bought her in July this year as a replacement for my toyota mr2 of the same year as there stats are very close. She is in good condition but could be better and that is my long tern aim. I am hoping to enter her in some concorse competitions next year, I will keep you informed of her progress. attachment=96:2007_0731Image0003.JPG] Quote
wozza Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 A BX 16 valve which still has its engine...rare. Think most of these have been cannibalized for the engine. Quote
tronboy Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 What do people put these engines in then Wozza? Not many BXs about to fit new engines to! Do they go in some kind of kit car? Quote
wozza Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 They fit in the 205's so a lot of people put them in there for a track day car. Same with the 405 Mi16 that gets pulled apart for the same reason. Quote
downsman Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Beautiful car :( I had a black one for 5 years, and my father still has it. It has reached 140 000 miles on the original clutch and the engine is still going strong! Quote
