Guest andyg Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I need to replace the wiper blades on my 1.6 VTR+ saloon. I have centred the wiper arms on the windscreen but am not sure how to physically remove the blade from the arm. The owner's handbook seems to be silent on this. Is a special tool needed or can the plastic ends holding in the blade be removed with, say, a trusty pair of pliers without damage to the ends or arm? Quote

They only fit one way. The longer 700mm blade is part number 6426.XF and the shorter 600mm one is part number 6426.XG. Quote
c4owner Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 All you do is 'nip' the 2 extended lugs at the connector together (where the blade attaches to the arm) and push down away from the arm, slide it forward and it's out. Very Very easy Reverse to fit a new one in less that 5 seconds Quote
