garymac1965 Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Hi My external temperature sensor on my 2001 sx seems to be playing up and obviously needs replaced. I read in another post that they are inexpensive so rather than pay an extortianite labour charge will fit it myself. The question is, how do I get to it, I cant see any easy way in and before I break the glass or the housing itself, has anyone got any advice of how to dismantle the nearside mirror. Thanks Gary Quote
Johndouglas Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Move the glass fully upwards and inwards. Behind the glass there's a 4" dia wire ring with two ends forming a spring clip. Pull the ends together then persuade the mirror to pull away. Quote
