I jus got some 17" alloys for my citroen xsara. its a 2000 model buts its stil a mk1. i have fit the wheels and now there is a serious rubbing noise is the back wheels when there is passengers in the back or even if i go over a speed bump. it sounds like they are rubbing in the arches but i looked around a fiddled about. i grinded part of the arches out to try and solve it but i had no luck. i even thought it was rubbin on the inside so i got 5mm wheel spacers and stil no joy. the only difference of the wheels i have now and the old ones is that they r 10mm wider.

can anyone please help me with this???

....sowhere are they rubbing.....without knowing that it would be difficult to give any advice other than to fit the correct size wheels.

surely if you remove the wheel you will see where it is rubbing !, then take it from there :P , don't remove the rear plastic arch liner on the drivers side as this is covering the fuel pipes, you know what i'm saying !!, stones etc will hit the pipes and WILL rupture the fuel pipes :o
