PaulCartwright Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Hi there I have got a 2002 Citroen C5 50k miles, Just before Christmas I had problem with the suspension - it was solid and very bouncy (I now know it was the spheres) Spot Of Chasetown (don’t recommend using as they don’t know there arse from there elbow) said pump the suspension up leave it there for 3 mins and lower it down again this bleeds the suspension off and soften the suspension up. I did this and the car wouldn't pump back up I thought that the pump was broke I replaced the pump and suspension ECU then used my lexia (computer) to re-program the pump's suspension the car. the pump still won’t work there are no fault codes on the cars ECU there is enough LDS fluid in the tank I know the pump spins as I have put power to it and it spins but doesn’t make the usual suspension noise when the car is being pumped up. I have checked all the fuses there ok I don’t know if there is a relay for the suspension I used the service.citroen.com site which is very helpful but I am just stumped and I don’t know where to go from here? does anyone have any suggestions on where to go next OR does anyone have a lo-lowder or one of those cars they use to lift peoples cars away who haven’t paid there parking fines (if that makes any sense) to transport my car to Davies's Stafford I live in Cannock Any help or suggestions are gratefully received Thanks in advance Paul Quote
Randombloke Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Have you checked that the height sensors/correctors* have not stuck? *Delete as you prefer. Manual refers to them as height correctors You could also try driving the car on a good surface to more than 6 mph and see if this provokes the system to say "low position not allowed" and pumps it up.
