Guest pete the elder Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Just want to say hello. The lexus had to go and a 2 litre diesel C4 exclusive has taken its place. So just to confirm an observation I read earlier on the forum ,there is yet another old crinkly driving around in an Artic Steel Hatch. It had to be a Hatch so as not to upset you young Coupe owners.Plus of course it's too difficult to get your Granny in the back of a 3 door. Quote
Guest CE05LDB Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Hi im 21 and drive a C3 Exclusive and I had 2 boys call me an old man.lol Soon showed them what an old man car was made of. But I am disabled so hence I needed the C3 Exclusive. If I had cash id have a C4 Exclusive so even young people like me would want one.lol You Enjoying the C4. I got Diecast Models of the C4 including the C4 Exclusive in Artic Steel. Quote
GreedyPig Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Hello Pete and welcome to the forum. On my 5th Citroen now (3 picassos, 1 C5 now a C4). Nowt wrong with arctic steel - hides the scratches! Quote
billynibbles Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I'm an OLD coupé owner so you won't upset me! It does give my dad, who's knocking on 90, a bit of grief to get out of, since my Mum always makes him sit in the back! Quote

BigJohnD Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Welcome Pete, Nowt wrong with being old or driving a Berline diesel. Comfy and relaxed is the way to go. Quote
AndrewR Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Hi Pete, I, too, am new. Don't worry about the age thing - I'm thirty and drive a C4 VTR+ diesel hatch in oriental blue and my friends take the p*ss; I return the compliment by reminding them that my C4 is far better equipped than their Vauxhall / Ford / Peugeot and I average 60mpg! Enjoy the car - they're great. Quote
AndrewR Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 What Andrew said! On a motorway trip to Bristol recently (I live in Somerset) I achieved a personal best of 82.4mpg! I was driving at about 55mph for the majority of the journey due to poor weather. No pictures, however. Quote
BigJohnD Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 No pictures, however.Clearly you're not a sad old man like me, who always has a camera in his pocket and likes to get 700 miles from every tankful. Quote
