I have a 2001 C5 2ltr 110bhp engine whit borsch injection, I'm am buying a boi home production unit to process used vegetable oil it will be 99% pure. Is anyone running on bio (not untreated veggi oil) at what ratio? for summer and winter and what mileage have you done.

Find out if you have a direct or indirect fuel injection system! If it is direct you will only be able to run around 20% bio to mineral diesel. Indirect injection system will atomize/vapourize the fuel prior to compression so then you wont get any residue from the bio (that would otherwise make a mess of your engine). If you have indirect injection then you can run 100% bio( if you so desire). Hope this helps!

I emailed Citroen UK some while ago about this-regarding my Blingo 1.9d & they said their policy at the moment was to allow up to 30% Biodiesel/diesel mix
