LittleKitten Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 I've recently bought a blue Citroen AX Salsa for £50, my first car. It's not looking too bad, although needs electrics sorting, new headlights, exhaust and a new sill - but what do you expect for £50? :P Anywho, with this being my first car, and not being a massive car expert i was wondering if i could ask for some help? This will sound so stupid, but i can't find the horn! Anywhere! Please help? Where is it? Quote
Johndouglas Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Probably on the end of one of the stalks. Quote
LittleKitten Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 Probably on the end of one of the stalks. Aha! Found it! Thanks :P Currently working on car - welding the sill, have just tightened the spare wheel mount. Still waiting on new headlights to be delivered and recieved my front calliper yesterday but when attemtpting to fit it today, we found out that they'd sent the wrong one :/ Anywho, another question: We're trying to remove the rear brake drum, but can't figure out how, please help? It seems to be 'locked on' somewhere Quote

downsman Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 UPDATE: Sorted it  Good idea removing the rear drums, when we had an AX I never quite got round to doing that and at 10 years the rear brake seized on while I was going round a roundabout! The brake cylinders were seized onto the back plate, and I ended up rebuilding the cylinder in situ :( Not the best part of the car design wise :) Enjoy your AX when you've finished, it was probably the best car I've owned so far :) Quote
