Guest Visa10E Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Hi there I own an 02 C5 2.2 HDi Exclusive with the CD changer under the seat, and being an ipod user for a number of years now I have no use for the changer and am desperate to upgrade the ICE in the car. I already have in my possesion from my last few cars a 500W amp & 500W 14" sub which I'm looking to fit but I'm also wondering wether or not to replace the head unit, speakers or both, is it a case of the the speakers in the C5 being crap, in which case I'll just replace them, fit an ipod connection along with my amp & sub and job done or is the head unit of a low power output (say 4x10W). I know the changer's made by Clarion so I assume the head unit is too? Any suggestions? Quote
Randombloke Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 There is at least one thread on the Yahoo C5 forum about connecting iPods into the ICE on the C5 with some basic soldering. Wozza made a recommendation for speakers else where. Quote
wozza Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Merged this topic with the other one you made so now you can get answers in 1 place and not 2. Quote
