C3 Collant Hose Pin-hole...

Hey folks,

According to our mechanic, our Citroën C3 has developed a pin-hole in the coolant hose. He says it's a common problem, but pretty tricky to get to it and fix.

Is it really all that difficult?

Not heard this one, so is it that common. Judging by the response no.

If its one of the rigid plastic coolant hoses that runs around the rear of the engine its something that is becoming more common and can be caused by the air filter casings etc not being refited correctly and then rubbing through....as far as a difficult job.....its more time consuming than difficult.....like.....its only a hose...why does it take a couple of hours to fit?
